Love Yourself
Take time for yourself each day - whether calling a friend for support, fixing a healthy meal, meditating, writing in your journal, walking or simply sitting quietly to reflect. Spend quality time alone to discover the benefits of nurturing yourself. It's a results-oriented, easy technique to love yourself and manage stress more effectively. And, it's FREE.  
Bless Someone Else
Be a blessing to someone else... be kind - surprise an elderly neighbor with a spontaneous visit or call that relative you've been thinking of. Send a FREE e-mail card from Hallmark's collection to a significant other or your best friend. Tell someone how much you appreciate them and value their friendship. Volunteer for a day at your local Salvation Army or go to a homeless shelter and pitch in. You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Uncover the Obstacles
Become a ruthless detective - be willing to uncover the obstacles that keep you from living the life you want. Then, do whatever it takes to motivate yourself to make changes - ask for help from a trusted friend, family member, co-worker or professional. If you get stuck figuring out how to identify obstacles or generate motivation, ask for direction or guidance. Be Playful
Give yourself permission to be playful - explore your inner child's wish list, hang out with children, read a kid's book, take yourself on a fun excursion to an amusement park or kick back and swing at your local playground. Do something fun!
Forgive
Free your heart of resentment - forgive yourself and others. Make a list of those you know you need to forgive and become willing to do so. Write their names on a piece of paper, say a forgiveness prayer or affirmation, and tear the paper in small pieces to signify letting go. Remember to include yourself! Notice how wonderful you feel and watch for magic to show up in your life.
Own New Attributes
Act as if... a valuable practice of acting as if you already possess the qualities (patience, kindness, willingness, courage or whatever you desire) will help you model the behavior you want, then with regular practice... you will soon own the new attribute.
Believe in Yourself
